
Program Description:
The Building and Ground maintenance Program is designed to provide persons with a broad base of knowledge, practical skills and attitudes which are fundamental and which are required for obtaining/performing entry level jobs at the work place. These fundamental competencies are also the basis on which higher level training program in the Building and Grounds Mainte-nance are built and persons who successfully complete this course will be eligible for entry into such programs.
This program entails: Air Conditioning, Electrical, Carpentry, Masonry, Plumbing and Grounds Maintenance.

Understanding the career opportunities and some laws governing the occupation;
Describe the factors related to trade and professional ethics;
Understand and discuss the role work ethics play in developing good customer relations;
Appreciate the improtance of ethics in the workplace;
Use electrical test instruments such as voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter;
Use Air-Conditioning special tools such as leak detectors, manifold gauge and pocket thermometers;
Install Air Conditioning
Perform maintenance duties for air conditioning.
