Jobs in the Food Service Industry generally fall into two main categories:
1. Food Preparation: the actual preparing of various foods, and
2. Food Service: personnel in this area work directly with the customers.
The Food & Beverage Preparation Industry Program is designed to provide persons with a broad based knowledge of practical skills and attitude for obtaining competencies acquired for entry level positions in the Food & Beverage section of Hotels, Restaurants, Cruise Ships, Resorts and other Culinary businesses..
